Privacy
Privacy
This policy covers both beckysandberg.com and modernidentityoperatingmodel.com. The short version: both are built to collect as little as possible about you.
What this site collects
Almost nothing, and nothing that identifies you
There are no accounts, no required sign-up, and no advertising or cross-site tracking anywhere on this site.
Analytics. The site uses privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that count visits in aggregate, how many people viewed a page, never who you are. No cookies are set for this, and no personal data is collected.
The tools. The free tools on modernidentityoperatingmodel.com (the Predictability Assessment, the Where-to-Start Worksheet, and the Gap Map) run entirely in your browser. Your answers and results stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. Closing the tab clears them. If you choose "Email my results to me," your own email app opens with the results written in, and you decide where they go; nothing passes through this site.
Downloads. The templates and the catalog are static files you download directly. Downloading one tells us nothing about you beyond an anonymous page view.
Links out. Some pages link to third-party sites, such as LinkedIn or a book retailer. Once you follow those links, their own privacy policies apply, not this one.
Contact. If you email me, your message and address stay in my inbox and are used only to reply. If you reach out through LinkedIn, that conversation lives on LinkedIn under its terms.
Email updates. Signing up is optional. If you do, your email address goes to Kit, the email service I use, which stores it and sends the updates. Kit sends one confirmation email first, and you are added only after you confirm. Your email address is the only thing collected; nothing from the assessment, worksheet, or gap map is ever connected to it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave at any time. Kit handles your address under Kit's privacy policy.
Purchases. Paid workbooks are sold through Gumroad, under Gumroad's privacy policy.
